Bloom purchased two large entertainment and sports theatres, booked the top celebrity entertainers, and put together national tours, including the 1984 Jackson Victory tour, through his 100% owned Marquee Entertainment Corporation.
Dr. Bloom’s theatres, the Circle Star in San Francisco and the Sunrise Theatre and Convention Facilities in Florida, were two of the most profitable venues in the country. The theatres successfully launched the US career of Julio Iglesias and skyrocketed the careers of many others. The Sunrise Theatre in Florida featured one of the first successful performances by Roseanne Barr (as well as many others) in a large entertainment facility.
